Precious Metal Surges, Creating New Record in Nepalese Market

Fine Gold in domestic market is traded at Rs 97,500 per tola and silver at Rs 1,210 per tola today.

N24 Staff Writer, KATHMANDU: On the second day of the week, the fine gold price rises by Rs 1,200 per tola in the domestic market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has shifted to Rs 97,500 per tola today from Rs 96,300 per tola yesterday.

Likewise, price of Tejabi gold is marked at Rs 97,060 per tola.

Followed by, silver is marked at Rs 1,210 per tola, after a rise by Rs 55 per tola.

*1 tola is equivalent to 11.66 grams.
