
BHAKTAPUR: Although chairperson of UCPN-Maoist Pushpa Kamal Dahal has dubbed his India visit successful to enhance the relations between both the countries, chairman of Nepal Workers’ and Peasants’ Party (NWPP) Narayan Man Bijukchhe said that the UCPN-Maoist Chairman’s visit to India was for soliciting donation for the party in the upcoming elections.
Leader Bijukchhe also claimed that the UCPN-Maoist had triumphed in the last elections and gained majority merely with the financial backing.
Meanwhile, Vice President of Nepali Congress Ram Chandra Poudel has blamed that some political forces of opposing the chief justice-led government as they were afraid of election.Addressing a function in Surkhet he added that to protest the hand-over of election government leadership to chief of judiciary is to fear the people´s mandate. “We agreed on incumbent CJ, as there was tendency of disagreeing government of any one party, and this government will hold free and fair elections by third week of November”, he added.
Poudel also said the previous Constituent Assembly could not give constitution, as there was dispute between parties on federalism and form of governance.He said his party will not form any working unity with any parties. However, he did not rule out the possibility of co-work with democratic forces but not working unity.
