Pooja lodged a complaint with the Artists Association
KATHMANDU:- Filmmakers have protested against journalist Prakash Subedi for using insulting and indecent words in AP One Television’s ‘Rajatpat’ program. Journalist Subedi used the word related to teeth (दारे) in the program without mentioning anyone’s name. The filmmakers have come out in support of her after Pooja’s response to his remarks targeting her.
Meanwhile, actress Sharma on Sunday lodged a complaint against journalist Subedi at the Film Artists Association. She was very emotional when she reached the association with director Sudarshan Thapa. She said that the words used by journalist Subedi in the program were an insult to her. She has also lodged a complaint with the Film Journalists Association, AP One Television.
Complaining to the union, Pooja said, “I became a victim of trolls because of an interview I gave to Prakash Dai three months ago.” Due to which I was suffering from mental stress. Again he called me for an interview, I refused to go. He has been talking to me in a disrespecting manner every week. After watching the last part, I felt bad and decided to fight now. ‘
Taking the request of actress Pooja, artiste association president Rabindra Khadka has assured her of justice. He told the media persons, “Please try to avoid saying that Prakashji has not mentioned anyone’s name in the program tomorrow.” However, he has humiliated the entire film industry without naming anyone. We will have an emergency meeting and decide what to do about it. ‘
Similarly, director Thapa accused journalist Subedi of harassing Pooja with words. “No one can be harassed with a physical injury. Can he put his daughter in the place of Pooja and use such words?Is it compulsory for an individual to attend a show just because a Journalist calls him/her? ‘he added. He assured all that he was with Pooja in the battle.
