Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has said that it would make no difference whoever took the government leadership if the political consensus is forged among the parties. However, he objected the idea of making an independent person as the Prime Minister in the country that has been exercising multi-party democracy.
Speaking at a program in Kathmandu, he claimed that the national consensus would be forged within few days. “There was no alternative to uniting for the consensus government and holding the fresh Constituent Assembly (CA) elections within May,” Prime Minister Dr Bhattarai said.
He also expressed sadness over the shelving of the ordinances that were prepared to find a way out to the current political transition at the President’s Office.
