KATHMANDU:- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the Gaura festival is an ancient and unique cultural festival of Sudurpaschim State and it has been further strengthening mutual harmony and belief in family and community.

In a best wishes message on the occasion of the Gaura festival today, Prime Minister Oli said that the Gaura festival is one festival among various festivals observed in the country. The message reads, “Nepal is a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-religious country. Unity among diversity and social harmony is our unique specialty.

I heartily call on all to be active in the country’s development and prosperity on this occasion.” PM Oli has also reminded that it was necessary to remain active for giving continuity to traditions while being aware to save lives in this adverse situation of COVID-19 pandemic.
