
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and main opposition Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba held discussion on contemporary political situation of the country. Nepal Communist Party (NCP) chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ was also present in the meeting.
At the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence, Baluwatar, today, matters related to consensus between ruling and opposition parties on state affairs, informed NCP parliamentary party deputy leader Subas Nembang.
On the occasion, President Deuba stressed that all affairs ranging from parliament operation to political appointment should be settled on consensus. Deuba also noted the need of implementing the agreements between ruling and opposition parties.
President Deuba presented his party’s claim over the position of Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nembang informed.
