PM Dr Bhattarai meeting the Prez


KATHMANDU:
Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai is scheduled to meet the President Dr Ram Baran Yadav today. Source close to PM Dr Bhattarai informed that the head of the state and executive head will dwell upon the current political deadlock and recent efforts of the parties to resolve it.
Prime Minister is meeting the President at the wake of allegations upon him by the opposition parties of being a spoilsport for consensus.
The Prime Minister has put forth the conditions of giving his government a shape of national unity government, albeit for a short span of time, amending the constitutional provision to hold election and announcement of election by his own government, among others before transferring the government.
