The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s Official Residence, Baluwatar focused on the intra-party disputes in the UCPN (Maoist), according to Prime Minister’s aide Prashant Lamichhane.
Similarly, matters relating to the party’s upcoming seventh plenum scheduled to begin from July 16, government activities and the latest political developments in the country were also discussed at the meeting.
The meeting also discussed on how to take the party ahead in the context that the dissent faction within the party led by senior Vice Chairman Mohan Baiddya has already quit the party and announced the formation of a new party, it is learnt. RSS
