PM comes heavy on hardliners


KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has flayed the Maoist hardliners for using revolution to fulfill personal whims. Addressing a mass organization in the capital organized by the party leadership to mark the ‘People’s Revolution Day’ on Friday, PM Bhattarai opined that revolution should not be used for personal gratification.

He claimed that a revolution should be always cognizant with national and international environment and arena and should have national interest at its center.

Bhattarai on the occasion defended anti-nationalist accusations leveled against him and Chairman Prachnda by the Maoist dissidents.

He claimed that such accusations were outcome of the personal resentment and lacked grounding to be worth considering.

The PM assured that the new constitution would be drafted on the basis of consensus among all parties.
