Petrol bombs hurled at Congress Vice President Poudel’s vehicle


TANAHUN: An unidentified group last night hurled bottle bombs at Nepali Congress Vice President Ram Chandra Poudel’s vehicle.
The vehicle [Ba 6 Cha 7555] came under attack at Ruptar, Ramjakot VDC-2 in the south of the district. The windscreen of the car has broken due to the attack took place at around 1 a.m.
Before this, Poudel had met with voters in different VDCs in the area as part of his door-to-door election campaign in the district. Poudel is contesting in the November 19 CA election from Tanahun Constituency-2. Police said they are searching for the assailants.
