Pashupatinath temple open for devotees


N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- The main temple of Pashupatinath has been opened for devotees from today. The Pashupatinath temple, which has been closed for four and a half months for the devotees to escape from the corona with the new variant, has reopened from 6 am today.

Along with Pashupatinath, temples including Guhyeshwari in Pashupati area have also been opened for devotees, according to the Pashupati Area Development Fund.

The Pashupatinath main temple was closed to devotees on April 26 after the Corona infection with new variants intensified.

Devotees who want to visit Pashupatinath temple must wear a mask. Only 25 devotees will be allowed to enter the temple at a time.

To enter the temple, devotees have to wait in line by maintaining physical distance. The fund has made arrangements to enter the temple through one door and exit through the other door.

An apology was offered at the long-closed Pashupatinath temple on Thursday.

Due to the Corona epidemic, the main temple of Pashupatinath has been closed from 24 March 2020 to September 9, 2021.
