GULMI: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali has said that the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) faced split due to greediness of some leaders.
Speaking in a programme here today, Minister Gyawali, also leader of the NCP, argued that the government was trapped from all sides and because of it the national politics took a new path. He added that conspiracies hatched in the party tried to ruin the progress and achievement of the incumbent government. Gyawali also claimed that chairman KP Sharma Oli led party will go for fresh elections with election symbol of Sun.
Similarly, Lumbini Province Chief Minister Shankar Pokharel argued that another faction of the NCP committed a mistake by hatching a conspiracy against own party. He argued that the charges leveled against chairman Oli paved the way for party split.
