In a bid to topple the government from the street protest, the opposition parties are all set to make the joint protest gathering successful on Friday.
The gathering being held tomorrow is the last program of the first phase of the protest that begun from Dailekh on January 19 and held the protest program in many parts of the country.
The opposition parties have considered tomorrow’s gathering as an occasion to demonstrate the anti-government strength.
A meeting of the opposition parties held at Nepali Congress’ party office on Thursday reiterated that the protest gathering against the government would be made very effective. The meeting has concluded that the anti government protest was gaining the support from various quarters.
The opposition parties said they would discuss again and make public the second round of protests on February 11.
Nepali Congress Spokesperson Dilendra Badu said the meeting on Thursday reviewed the protests program of the first phase and found it very fruitful to educate people about democracy and against government atrocities.
“We have requested the people from various profession and class to take part and support our program,” he said
Likewise, issuing a press release, the parties have appealed to all to attend Friday protest gathering being held in Tundikhel.
