Non Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Australia has launched a fund raising campaign in a bid to support the families of landslide victims in Mankha VDC, Sindhupalchok district.
Releasing a press statement, NRNA Australia has urged all Nepalese residing in Australia to help the landslide victims. According to NRNA Australia, aspirants can donate on the following bank account:

An entire 500 metre landmass in upper Itani area of Ramche village had collapsed down on Saturday morning blocking the Sunkosi River at Jure in the district killing 35 so far and missing more than 150 from three villages.
Altogether 50 houses were buried, 27 dismantled and 30 partially damaged due to the landslide. The debris of the massive landslide had blocked the River for a day forming a huge lake. The water level has now decreased to some extent but down stream villages are still at risk, authorities said.
