New Zealand in the final of the Cricket World Cup


KATHMANDU:- New Zealand have reached the final of the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup. New Zealand is about to play the final for the first time. New Zealand reached the final by defeating eventual runners-up England by five wickets in the first semi-final of the seventh edition of the T20 World Cup in the UAE. New Zealand will face the winner between Pakistan and Australia.

Daryl Mitchell’s unbeaten 72 in Abu Dhabi helped New Zealand reach the target of 167 by losing five wickets off six balls. Mitchell hit four fours and four sixes off 47 balls. Devon Conway scored 46 and James Nisam scored 27 off 11 balls. England’s Chris Vokes and Liam Livingstone took two wickets each and Adil Rashid took one wicket.

Moin Ali top-scored for England with 51 runs. He hit 3 fours and 2 sixes in 37 balls. Similarly, David Malana added 41 runs. New Zealand’s Tim Southee, Adam Milne, Ish Sodhi and James Nissam took 1-1 wickets.
