Nepal’s stock market looked stable, with a turnover of Rs 7 billion


N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- The stock market has remained stable on Thursday, the last day of the year. The market has declined by only 0.2 percent as the market closed during the day.

The Sensitive Index, which measures Class A transactions, also declined by only 0.28 percent. Although the market as a whole has declined, there has been no major decline.

Shares of companies in the trade, hydropower, life insurance and investment groups rose on Thursday, while those of other companies declined. There was no excitement in the transaction amount.

Of the over 9 billion shares traded on Wednesday, a little over 7 billion shares were traded on Thursday.
