N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- Mahanta Thakur of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has joined the government. Janata Samajwadi Party ministers have been sworn in at 6 pm today.
Mahanta Thakur faction of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has joined the government led by senior leader Rajendra Mahato.
Leaders of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) ‘s Mahanta Thakur faction, Sharad Singh Bhandari, Anil Jha, Laxman Lal Karna, Vimal Srivastava, Umashankar Aragaria, Chanda Chaudhary, and Ekbal Mia will become ministers.
Leader Mahato will be the Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister, while Bhandari will be the Minister of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation.
While Jha is in charge of the Ministry of Drinking Water and Karna, Srivastava is in charge of the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, and Poverty Alleviation.
Similarly, Chaudhary will be given the responsibility of the Ministry of Women, Children, and Senior Citizens and Ekwal Mia will be given the responsibility of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, said a Jaspa leader.
JASAPA has also decided on two ministers of state. Chandrakant Chaudhary will be the Minister of State for Energy and Renuka Gurung Women and Children.
