Nepal’s Federal Parliament meeting adjourned till September 20


By Ranjana Magar, KATHMANDU:- The meeting of the House of Representatives has been postponed till September 20 without passing the budget.

Tuesday’s meeting of the House of Representatives has passed a resolution to consider the Appropriation Bill. However, the meeting has been postponed till September 20 without passing the budget with amendments.

In the meeting on Tuesday, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma had proposed to consider the Appropriation Bill amidst the slogans of the UML MPs. The meeting was adjourned after the resolution was passed by a majority.
