By N24 STAFF WRITER, KATHMANDU:- In a routine press conference today by the Ministry of Health and Population, Ministry’s Spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam shared that a total of 899 new COVID-19 cases and 7 new deaths of COVID-19 Patients have been confirmed in Nepal.
According to him, the COVID-19 death toll has reached 228 in Nepal. Now, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Nepal reached 39,460.
298 added case in the valley; 190 in Kathmandu, 67 in Lalitpur, 41 in Bhaktapur according to Dr. Jageshwor Gautam.
Now, the total number of COVID-19 positive patients in Nepal has reached 17,822 in Nepal. In the last 24 hours, 11,129 RT-PCR tests conducted in the different labs across the country. so far 6,93,472 people have been tested in the country.
Meanwhile, 588 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from respective hospitals recently after recovery across Nepal. After this, the total number of recovered cases has reached 21,410 around (54 % )of the total confirmed cases in Nepal.
There are 11 districts with 500+ active cases; Mahottari, Parsa, Rautahat, Morang, Dhanusha, Sarlahi, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bara, Chitwan, Rupandehi.
