Nepal’s COVID-19 tally: 681 new cases , 6 new deaths

 Now, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Nepal reached 28,938 according to Dr. Jageshwor Gautam.

By N24 STAFF WRITER, KATHMANDU:-  In a routine press conference today by the Ministry of Health and Population, Ministry’s Spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam shared that a total of 681 new COVID-19 cases and 6 new deaths of COVID-19 Patients have been confirmed in Nepal.

Among the total infection, 465 are male and 216 female. 6 new deaths: 1 male from Kathmandu, 1 male from Bardiya, 1 female from Morang, 1 female from Bhaktapur, 1 female from Chitwan, and 1 female from Sunsari. Now, the total number of COVID-19 positive patients in Nepal has reached 11,118  in Nepal. In the last 24 hours, 11,522 RT-PCR tests conducted in the different labs across the country.

 Now, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Nepal reached 28,938. Added case in the valley; 134 in Kathmandu, 17 in Lalitpur, 8 in  Bhaktapur according to Dr. Jageshwor Gautam.

State-wise categorization puts the infection- 1,060 in State-1; 2,037 in State-2; 2,679 in Bagmati State; 4,288 in Gandaki State; 838 in State-5; 245 in Karnali State; and 830 in Sudurpaschim State. As many as 113 persons among the infected ones are receiving treatment at ICU.

Meanwhile, 120 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from respective hospitals recently after recovery across Nepal. After this, the total number of recovered cases has reached 17,700( which is 61.2% of the total confirmed cases) in Nepal.
