KASKI: Education Secretary Suresh Man Shrestha has said that computer-illiterate civil servants would not be promoted. “The post of computer operator will not exist for long in any government office. All from office chief to peon should handle their computer works themselves,” Shrestha said after inspecting the regional office of Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) in Pokhara on Tuesday.
He said that files for the promotion of civil servants being illiterate even in the 21st century of information and communciations would not be forwarded.
Secretary Shrestha also directed the government officials to work with high moral. RSS
