Nepalis hailing from Myagdi’s Dana observe annual get-together in UK
MICHET/n24: Community of Nepalis living in the UK, originally from beautiful village Dana in Myagdi District, gathered at Tamu Building to socialize and exchange greetings. Organized by Friendly Brothers – Dana Serofero Society, the event also included various cultural programs.
The Society’s chairman Kamal Purja conducted the program under his chairmanship which was commemorated by the President of Myagdi NRN-MONA, Yog Kumar Fagami.
Calling all to participate in the upcoming General meeting of MONA, UK in September,
Mr. Fagami stated that Dana Society has gained much success in a short period of time and requested all to keep up the good work of uplifting the people of Myagdi District and contribute to its development.
In the program the society’s Mothers’ group entertained the audiences with welcome song and other patriotic songs. Dr. Sumitra from the group felicitated newly married couples whereas the Secretary Bhim Purja performed a dance number from the Fathers’ group. Similarly Gyanu Pun performed a dance number in the song ‘ Baisa fulne bihan aayo.’
