Nepali Jansampark Samiti-Michigan chapter’s convention concludes

Michigan/N24 Correspondent: The Nepali Congress affiliated Nepali Jansampark Samiti’s recently concluded general convention elected a 13 member executive committee in the leadership of Dharma Bhattarai.
The convention held on July 21 was participated by Nepali Janasampark Samiti Central coordinator Khagendra GC and Federation of America Nepal Journalist General Secretary Kishor Panthi among others.

Jagan Lal Shrestha (vice President), Ram Prasad Basyal (General Secretary), Amrit Bhattarai (Secretary), Madhukar Rajaure (Treasurer), and members Harish Upadhaya, Prakash Bhattarai, Ghanshyam Pandey, Taralaxmi Shrestha, Lochan Shrestha, Punya Parajuli, Niraj Karki, and Binod Chandra Ghimire were elected to the committee.

While exstaling the chapters’ achievement, President Bhattarai announced the establishment of natural disaster funds with 1001 US $.

Speakers at the inauguration of the convention stressed on the need to resolve all ongoing rifts within the organization across the country and at its central committee.

Chief guest GC stressed on the need of collective efforts to resolve all rifts and factionalism within the organization. He expressed confidence to resolve all rifts at the central committee very soon.
