Nepali American entrepreneur shot dead in Massachusetts

N24 Correspondent, NEW YORK:- A Nepali American entrepreneur has been shot dead in Massachusetts, USA. Shiva Poudel informed Khasokhas that 54-year-old Nepali Lal Kishor Mahaseth was shot dead in Fal River.

He was shot while working in the store. Mahaseth of Mahendranagar Sakhu in Dhanusha district came to the United States about 15 years ago.

He was taken to hospital after being shot while living with his family in Fruit River, Massachusetts. The hospital declared him dead. He was shot at around 9 pm on Monday.

Mahaseth’s body has been taken to Capcard for postmortem. It was not immediately clear why the incident took place. However, there have been attempts to rob the store in the past and such people have been chased away. It is estimated that the incident took place when the thief was still trying to retaliate and did not pay.

As the security situation was bad and looting could take place at the place where the store was operating, the store would be closed from inside after 7.30 pm and an acquaintance would be opened from inside only after someone rang the bell. It is estimated that the person who shot Mahaseth was not a new person.

It is estimated that Mahaseth may have opened the shop from inside as he knew the person and after entering the person, he may have looted and shot.
