Nepal will bowl first in the game against Oman


KATHMANDU;- Nepal have decided to bowl first against host Oman in their final match of the triangular one-day international series of the ICC Cricket World Cup-2.

Nepal captain Gyanendra Malla decided to bowl first after winning the toss at Al Amer Cricket Ground in Oman. Nepal has changed two players in the team today. Veteran batsmen Sharad Veshwakar and Arif Sheikh will play today’s match. Nepal has placed Kushal Malla and Gulshan Jha on the bench.

Nepal, who lost the first match against Oman, will be looking for a happy ending to the series. Earlier, Nepal had defeated USA by five wickets in the first match on Monday.

Similarly, Nepal lost to Oman by five wickets in the second match played on Tuesday. Nepal had lost the second match against USA by 6 wickets on Friday. Nepal is in the sixth position with 6 points from seven games while Oman is at the top of the table with 20 points from 12 games.
