Nepal’s Weather: Heavy rains will continue till Saturday

N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- There has been heavy rain in different parts of the country including Kathmandu Valley. Rains have started in provinces 1, 2, Bagmati, and Gandaki from Wednesday night. There has been heavy rain in some places and normal to heavy rain in many places.

Moderate to heavy rains will continue till Saturday, according to the weather forecast department. According to the Division, there will be heavy rain in some places of Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Gandaki till Saturday.

Karnali and Far-Western states will receive less rain, according to a statement issued by the department. The weather has changed completely in the western part of the country despite the lack of water, the department said.

There is a possibility of lightning on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in areas where there is heavy rain. The department has warned that the surface of the river will rise due to heavy rains and floods and landslides are likely to occur in these areas.
