N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- The US-granted Johnson & Johnson Corona vaccine campaign is being launched in Nepal from today.
The vaccination campaign will start from today in all the districts except the remote districts where the vaccine is yet to reach. Krishna Prasad Poudel informed.
The vaccine of 1.534 million 850 doses of Johnson & Johnson Company, which was provided to Nepal by the United States under the Covax program, arrived in Kathmandu on 12 July.
The vaccine is being given to people in the age group of 50 to 54 years, people with disability A and B class identity cards, refugees living in Nepal, cleaners and others.
It has been decided to vaccinate Johnson from 44 vaccination centers in Kathmandu from July 19 to 20.
