Nepal Share Market: NEPSE Witness Decline By 16.60 points, Closes At 1,391.29 points

According to Nepal Stock Exchange, the NEPSE index has declined by 16.60 points to close at 1,391.29 points. While the Sensitive Index decreased by 2.71 points to 287.07 points.

N24 Staff Writer, KATHMANDU: According to Nepal Stock Exchange, the NEPSE index has declined by 16.60 points to close at 1,391.29 points. While the Sensitive Index decreased by 2.71 points to 287.07 points. A total of 2.4 million shares of 185 companies were traded, with the total turnover of Rs 976.24 million.

Of the total 12 subgroups traded, all tehe subgroups closes in red. Banking decreased by 15.12 points, Development Bank by 18.31 points, Finance by 3.03 points, Hotels by 3.98 points, Mutual Funds no change, Hydropower by 6.21 points, Life Insurance by 136.59 points, Manufacturing/Processing by 40.8 points, Microfinacne by 29.9 points, Non life Insurance by 113.44 points, Others by 3.88 points and Trading by 12.28 points.

Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) is in the top position in terms of turnover. The company had a turnover of Rs 80.99 million. Similarly, Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) had Rs 68.18 million, Neco Insurance Limited (NIL) had Rs 64.47 million and Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) had Rs 56.39 million.

Similarly, today’s top three gainers were: Samriddhi Finance Company Limited (SFCL) gained 10.00 percent, Panchakanya Mai Hydropower Limited (PMHPL) gained 5.13 percent and Union Hydropower Limited (UNHPL) gained 3.45 percent.

Likewise, today’s top three losers were: Prudential Insurance Co. Ltd. (PICL) lost 3.80 percent, Miteri Development Bank Limited (MDB) lost 3.26 percent and Rairang Hydropower Development Company Limited (RRHP) lost 3.23 percent.
