N24 Staff Writer, KATHMANDU: According to Nepal Stock Exchange, the NEPSE index has inclined by 4.29 points to close at 1,565.55 points. While the Sensitive Index incline by 0.90 points to 310.47 points. A total of 19.9 million shares of 191 companies were traded, with the total turnover of Rs 3.14 billion.
Of the total 12 subgroups traded, shares of seven subgroups closed at red, while all remaining subgroups closed at green. Hotels increased by 51.71 points, Banking by 13.74 points, Finance by 11.63 points, Development Banks by 13.00 points and Mutual Funds by 0.03 points. Likewise, Manufacturing and Processing decreased by 44.81 points, Hydropower by 13.10 points, Non-Life Insurance by 72.53 points, Life Insurance by 83.59 points, Trading by 1.94 points, Others by 1.54 points and Microfinance by 6.62 points.
Today, Soaltee Hotel Limited (SHL) is in the top position in terms of turnover. The company had a turnover of Rs 485.65 million. Similarly, Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC) Rs 142.79 million, Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) Rs 131.55 million, Civil Bank Limited (CBL) Rs 111.01 million and Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) Rs 90.001 million.
Similarly, today’s top three gainers were: Investors of Best Finance Company Limited (BFC) gained 9.92 percent, Mountain Hydro Nepal Limited (MHNL) gained 9.68 percent and Nepal Finance Limited (NFS) gained 9.55 percent.
Likewise, today’s top three losers were: Investors of Unilever Nepal Limited (UNL) lost 7.11 percent, United Modi Hydropower Limited (UMHL) lost 5.26 percent and United Finance Limited (UFL) lost 4.96 percent.
