N24 Staff Writer, KATHMANDU: According to Nepal Stock Exchange, the NEPSE index has increased by 13.05 points to close at 1,508.20 points. While the Sensitive Index up by 0.19 points to 299.66 points. A total of 5.8 million shares of 195 companies were traded, with the total turnover of Rs 2.58 billion.
Of the total 12 subgroups traded, shares of only two subgroups closed at red while remaining ten subgroups closed at green. Banking decreased by 1.89 points and Development Bank by 5.48 points. Likewise, Hotels increased by 20.41 points, Hydropower by 7.02 points, Manufacturing/Processing by 24.24 points, Life insurance by 166.77 points, Non Life Insurance by 261.81 points, Mutual funds by 0.02 points, Others by 19.34 points, Microfinance by 55.43 points, Finance by 1.49 points and Trading by 34.90 points.
Today, Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) is in the top position in terms of turnover. The company had a turnover of Rs 223.12 million. Similarly, Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) Rs 186.41 million, Shivam Cement Limited (SHIVM) Rs 126.34 million, Surya Life Insurance Company Limited (SLICL) Rs 123.68 million and Neco Insurance Limited (NIL) Rs 121.39 million.
Similarly, today’s top three gainers were: Investors of Rastriya Beema Company Limited (RBCL) gained 10 percent, Reliance Life Insurance Limited (RLI) gained 10 percent and Rastriya Beema Company Limited Promoter Share (RBCLPO) gained 10 percent.
Likewise, today’s top three losers were: Investors of Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited Promotor Share (MBLPO) lost 18.92 percent, NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) lost 9.92 percent and Kalika Power Company Limited (KPCL) lost 4.80 percent.
