Nepal Share Market: NEPSE Rise By 25.58 points, Closes At 1,510.57 points

According to Nepal Stock Exchange, the NEPSE index has increased by 25.58 points to close at 1,510.57 points. While the Sensitive Index rise by 6.25 points to 304.60 points.

N24 Staff Writer, KATHMANDU: According to Nepal Stock Exchange, the NEPSE index has increased by 25.58 points to close at 1,510.57 points. While the Sensitive Index rise by 6.25 points to 304.60 points. A total of 9.7 million shares of 186 companies were traded, with the total turnover of Rs 4.18 billion.

Of the total 12 subgroups traded, shares of two subgroups closed at red while remaining ten subgroups closed at green. Life insurance decreased by 88.68 points and Non Life Insurance by 125.89 points. Likewise, Banking increased by 19.78 points, Development Bank by 26.45 points, Mutual Funds by 0.08 points, Finance by 7.75 points, Hotels by 1.02 points, Hydropower by 94.22 points, Manufacturing/Processing by 31.42 points, Microfinance by 17.28 points, Trading by 15.84 points and Others by 37.11 points.

Today, Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) is in the top position in terms of turnover. The company had a turnover of Rs 674.24 million. Similarly, Shikhar Insurance Company Limited (SICL) Rs 177.53 million, National Life Insurance Company Limited (NLICL) Rs 165.19 million, Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) Rs 157.56 million and Neco Insurance Limited (NIL) Rs 146.71 million.

Similarly, today’s top gainers were: Investors of Api Power Company Limited (API), Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC), Joshi Hydropower Development Company Limited (JOSHI), Panchthar Power Company Limited (PPCL) and Ngadi Group Power Limited (NGPL) all gained 10 percent.

Likewise, today’s top three losers were: Investors of Prabhu Insurance Company Limited (PRIN) lost 4.41 percent, Prudential Insurance Company Limited (PICL) lost 4.01 percent and Multipurpose Finance Company Limited (MPFL) lost 3.70 percent.
