N24 Staff Writer, KATHMANDU: According to Nepal Stock Exchange, the NEPSE index has declined by 6.12 points to close at 1,569.06 points. While the Sensitive Index decline by 1.38 points to 312.24 points. A total of 8.5 million shares of 195 companies were traded, with the total turnover of Rs 2.63 billion.
Of the total 12 subgroups traded, shares of only one subgroup closed at green while remaining all subgroups closed at red. Manufacturing and Processing increased by 12.23 points. Likewise, Development Banks decreased by 11.50 points, Finance by 9.43 points, Banking by 4.32 points, Non-Life Insurance by 54.98 points, Hotels by 32.61 points, Life Insurance by 67.85 points, Mutual Funds by 0.11 points, Trading by 10.99 points, Microfinance by 7.38 points, Others by 1.43 points and Hydropower by 5.88 points.
Today, Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) is in the top position in terms of turnover. The company had a turnover of Rs 213.88 million. Similarly, Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) Rs 149.04 million, Reliance Life Insurance Limited (RLI) Rs 129.85 million, Chhimek Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CBBL) Rs 71.91 million and Shikhar Insurance Company Limited (SICL) Rs 65.35 million.
Similarly, today’s top three gainers were: Investors of United Finance Limited (UFL) gained 10 percent, National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) gained 5.00 percent and Panchakanya Mai Hydropower Limited (PMHPL) gained 4.81 percent.
Likewise, today’s top three losers were: Investors of Liberty Energy Company Limited (LEC) lost 10 percent, Rairang Hydropower Development Company Limited (RRHP) lost 9.80 percent and Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL) lost 9.52 percent.
