Nepal Share Market: NEPSE Loses 22.91 Points, Closes At 1,546.15 Points

According to Nepal Stock Exchange, the NEPSE index has declined by 22.91 points to close at 1,546.15 points. While the Sensitive Index decline by 4.84 points to 307.39 points.

N24 Staff Writer, KATHMANDU: According to Nepal Stock Exchange, the NEPSE index has declined by 22.91 points to close at 1,546.15 points. While the Sensitive Index decline by 4.84 points to 307.39 points. A total of 7.8 million shares of 199 companies were traded, with the total turnover of Rs 2.81 billion.

Of the total 12 subgroups traded, shares of all subgroups closed at red. Manufacturing and Processing decreased by 35.04 points, Development Banks by 40.30 points, Finance by 12.49 points, Banking by 22.36 points, Non-Life Insurance by 112.66 points, Hotels by 15.06 points, Life Insurance by 109.47 points, Mutual Funds by 0.08 points, Trading by 2.13 points, Microfinance by 23.24 points, Others by 7.22 points and Hydropower by 24.91 points.

Today, Shikhar Insurance Company Limited (SICL) is in the top position in terms of turnover. The company had a turnover of Rs 319.54 million. Similarly, Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) Rs 191.11 million, Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) Rs 124.47 million, NMB Bank Limited (NMB) Rs 74.20 million and Reliance Life Insurance Limited (RLI) Rs 70.85 million.

Similarly, today’s top three gainers were: Investors of United Finance Limited (UFL) gained 6.82 percent, Barun Hydropower Company Limited (BARUN) gained 4.65 percent and Panchakanya Mai Hydropower Limited (PMHPL) gained 3.67 percent.

Likewise, today’s top three losers were: Investors of Liberty Energy Company Limited (LEC) lost 9.88 percent, Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL) lost 9.47 percent and United Modi Hydropower Limited (UMHL) lost 9.29 percent.
