N24 Staff Writer, KATHMANDU: According to Nepal Stock Exchange, the NEPSE index has inclined by 30.78 points to close at 1,572.18 points. While the Sensitive Index incline by 7.02 points to 312.50 points. A total of 13.22 million shares of 191 companies were traded, with the total turnover of Rs 3.7 billion.
Of the total 12 subgroups traded, shares of only one subgroup closed at red while remaining eleven subgroups closed at green. Non-Life Insurance decreased by 0.41 points. Likewise, Hotels increased by 161.51 points, Life Insurance by 49.88 points, Mutual Funds by 0.11 points, Manufacturing/processing by 13.32 points, Microfinance by 12.21 points, Banking by 28.07 points, Others by 8.69 points, Trading by 6.56 points, Development Banks by 66.04 points, Hydropower by 88.38 points and Finance by 41.95 points.
Today, Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) is in the top position in terms of turnover. The company had a turnover of Rs 149.8 million. Similarly, Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) Rs 126.34 million, Chilime Hydro power Company Limited (CHCL) Rs 106.18 million, Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Limited (UPPER) Rs 85.93 million and Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) Rs 76.50 million.
Similarly, today’s top three gainers were: Investors of Soaltee Hotel Limited (SHL), Reliance Life Insurance Limited (RLI) and Taragaon Regency Hotel Limited (TRH) gained 10 percent.
Likewise, today’s top three losers were: Investors of NRN Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NLBSL) lost 6.73 percent, Siddhartha Equity Fund (SEF) lost 5.07 percent and NIC ASIA Balanced Fund (NICBF) lost 3.70 percent.
