N24 Staff Writer, KATHMANDU: According to Nepal Stock Exchange, the NEPSE index has inclined by 9.37 points to close at 1,555.52 points. While the Sensitive Index incline by 0.95 points to 308.34 points. A total of 5.8 million shares of 194 companies were traded, with the total turnover of Rs 1.72 billion.
Of the total 12 subgroups traded, shares of only one subgroup closed at red, while all remaining subgroups closed at green. Hotels decreased by 23.64 points. Likewise, Manufacturing and Processing increased by 23.20 points, Development Banks by 22.80 points, Finance by 12.02 points, Banking by 1.87 points, Non-Life Insurance by 74.77 points, Life Insurance by 94.68 points, Mutual Funds by 0.03 points, Trading by 5.72 points, Microfinance by 10.22 points, Others by 7.36 points and Hydropower by 33.79 points.
Today, Shikhar Insurance Company Limited (SICL) is in the top position in terms of turnover. The company had a turnover of Rs 108.59 million. Similarly, Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) Rs 95.94 million, Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) Rs 87.32 million, Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC) Rs 56.07 million and Reliance Life Insurance Limited (RLI) Rs 44.66 million.
Similarly, today’s top three gainers were: Investors of Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC) gained 9.76 percent, Mountain Hydro Nepal Limited (MHNL) gained 9.71 percent and United Modi Hydropower Limited (UMHL) gained 9.45 percent.
Likewise, today’s top three losers were: Investors of Gurkhas Finance Limited (GUFL) lost 3.57 percent, Taragaon Regency Hotel Limited (TRH) lost 1.99 percent and Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF) lost 1.97 percent.
