N24 Staff Writer, KATHMANDU: According to Nepal Stock Exchange, the NEPSE index has inclined by 3.00 points to close at 1,575.18 points. While the Sensitive Index incline by 1.12 points to 313.62 points. A total of 9.2 million shares of 188 companies were traded, with the total turnover of Rs 2.7 billion.
Of the total 12 subgroups traded, shares of nine subgroup closed at red while remaining three subgroups closed at green. Banking increased by 19.41 points, Development Banks by 25.88 points and Finance by 28.66 points. Likewise, Non-Life Insurance decreased by 70.11 points, Hotels by 96.65 points, Life Insurance by 56.26 points, Mutual Funds by 0.10 points, Manufacturing/processing by 2.17 points, Microfinance by 13.81 points, Others by 10.36 points, Hydropower by 52.37 points.
Today, Reliance Life Insurance Limited (RLI) is in the top position in terms of turnover. The company had a turnover of Rs 194.76 million. Similarly, Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) Rs 162.94 million, Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) Rs 142.06 million, Civil Bank Limited (CBL) Rs 75.05 million and Arun Kabeli Power Limited (AKPL) Rs 73.65 million.
Similarly, today’s top three gainers were: Investors of Khani Khola Hydropower Company Limited (KKHC) gained 10 percent, Reliance Finance Limited (RLFL) gained 9.66 percent and Saptakoshi Development Bank Limited (SAPDBL) gained 9.63 percent.
Likewise, today’s top three losers were: Investors of Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC) lost 10 percent, Himalaya Urja Bikas Company Limited (HURJA) lost 9.93 percent and Panchthar Power Company Limited (PPCL) lost 9.82 percent.
