Nepal Share Market: NEPSE Down By 10.45 points, Closes At 1,499.97 points

According to Nepal Stock Exchange, the NEPSE index has decreased by 10.45 points to close at 1,499.97 points. While the Sensitive Index down by 2.54 points to 302.19 points.

N24 Staff Writer, KATHMANDU: According to Nepal Stock Exchange, the NEPSE index has decreased by 10.45 points to close at 1,499.97 points. While the Sensitive Index down by 2.54 points to 302.19 points. A total of 7.04 million shares of 191 companies were traded, with the total turnover of Rs 2.78 billion.

Of the total 12 subgroups traded, shares of ten subgroups closed at red while remaining two subgroups closed at green. Banking decreased by 8.14 points, Development Banks by 20.80 points, Hydropower by 5.74 points, Manufacturing/Processing by 40.43 points, Finance by 2.00 points, Hotels by 25.65 points, Life insurance by 26.33 points, Microfinance by 10.27 points, Non Life Insurance by 26.61 points and Others by 12.65 points. Likewise, Mutual Funds increased by 0.01 points and Trading by 22.63 points.

Today, Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) is in the top position in terms of turnover. The company had a turnover of Rs 401.30 million. Similarly, Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) Rs 117.35 million, Neco Insurance Limited (NIL) Rs 100.15 million, Arun Kabeli Power Limited (AKPL) Rs 88.23 million and Shikhar Insurance Company Limited (SICL) Rs 82.56 million.

Similarly, today’s top three gainers were: Investors of Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (USLB) gained 9.90 percent, Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC) gained 9.82 percent and Joshi Hydropower Development Company Limited (JOSHI) gained 9.72 percent.

Likewise, today’s top three losers were: Investors of NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) lost 9.87 percent, Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Company Limited (RHPL) lost 5.29 percent and Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC) lost 4.04 percent.
