Nepal selects SAFF U-18 championship team


KATHMANDU: The All Nepal Football Association or ANFA has announced a preliminary list of 30 footballers to represent Nepal in the 3rd edition of SAFF U-18 football championship to be held in Nepal. The South Asian Football Federation or SAFF event is taking place from coming September 20.
The 30 were selected from among 46 that were undergoing training for the tournament, according to head coach Chet Narayan Shrestha. The matches under the tournament will be held at the APF ground in Halchowk, Kathmandu.
Nepal is in Group A, also including Pakistan, the Maldives and Bhutan.
