Nepal records 2,568 more COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU:- Coronavirus has been confirmed on 2,568 more individuals across the country in the last 24 hours. Such number of coronavirus cases was detected in course of conducting 12,636 tests in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 2,020 people have recovered from the virus during the same period. The recovery rate is 94.1 per cent.
Similarly, 18 more people succumbed to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking its death toll to 9,875.
A total of 4.06288 million people have received the first dose of vaccine against COVID-19 vaccine while 1.813471 million people have been fully vaccinated so far, according to the Ministry.
