Nepal: Quality improvement in community schools imperative
KATHMANDU:– The education policy drafted by Bagmati State has prioritized improving the community school education.
Speaking in virtual discussions organized by the community school management committee federation Bagmati State committee here today, education experts and stakeholders focused on prioritizing the implementation of the constitutional provision of free education as the fundamental rights. The participants stressed that the local level, community school management committee, and schools should come with effective plans and programmers to improve the quality of the education.
State Government Social Development Ministry spokesperson Dipendra Subedi shared that the policy draft would be endorsed after discussions with concerned sides aimed at ensuring the quality and access to all in education. Director at the education directorate Chandra Prasad Luintel, writer Govinda Bhandari, federation chair Krishna Thapa argued that the policy should be more clear in ensuring free education up to secondary level to all.
