N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- Nepal Police have raided an illegal liquor factory at Thamel in Kathmandu.
According to Superintendent of Police Krishna Koirala, a team of the Metropolitan Crime Branch raided Jyatha in Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 26 on Friday.
A police team was deployed after receiving information that they were making homemade liquor illegally without permission.
“We were monitoring the situation after receiving information that domestic liquor was being made without permission,” he said.
Police found the factory being run by a Chinese national.
