KATHMANDU;- Nepal Police Club has entered semi-finals by beating Dhorpatan Sports Club in the straight set 3-0 in a match under the sixth edition of the National NVA Women’s and Men’s Club Volleyball Championship. The match was organized on Thursday at the covered hall belonging to the National Sports Council at Tripureshwor. NPC won the sets 25-19, 25-18 and 25-19.
Earlier, Help Nepal had made it to the semi-finals. It defeated Naya Bazaar Social Youth Club in the 25-20, 25-10 and 25-17 sets. Organised by the Nepal Volleyball Association, 14 teams under men’s category and six teams under women’s category have participated in the tournament. Winner will get Rs 400,000, first runner-up Rs 200,000 and second runner-up Rs 100,000.
