Nepal Government recommends to convene the parliament meeting on July 15

KATHMANDU:- The government has recommended convening a meeting of the parliament on July 15.

Home Minister Bal Krishna Khan informed that the cabinet meeting held on Thursday decided to recommend to the President to convene a meeting of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly on July 15.

President Bidyadevi Bhandari had dissolved the House of Representatives and declared mid-term elections on May 21 on the recommendation of the then Council of Ministers.

However, the Supreme Court had ruled to reconstitute the parliament and ordered to convene a meeting of the House of Representatives by July 15.
