Nepal Government recommends names of ambassadors to 11 countries

UML central member and former general administration minister Yubaraj Karki, former mayor of Biratnagar Metropolitan City, and UML leader Ramesh Chandra Poudel, former MP from Palpa and UML leader Kul Prasad Nepal and nine other professors and activists have been included in the recommendation list.

N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- Nepal Government has recommended the names of 11 ambassadors to 11 different countries. An earlier meeting of the Council of Ministers had recommended the appointment of an ambassador.

Government spokesperson Parbat Gurung informed that the names recommended by the meeting a year ago have been sent to the parliamentary hearing committee. Among the proposed ambassadors are Nirmal Raj Kafle and Jeevan Prakash Shrestha, joint secretaries of the Foreign Service.

6: Jang Bahadur Chauhan – Russia
7: Narayan Prasad Sangraula – Myanmar
8: Yuvraj Karki – Bahrain
9: Kul Prasad Nepal – Brazil
10: Sumitra Subedi – Denmark
11: Meraj Muslim – Saudi Arabia
