N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- The government has recommended ambassadors to India, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
The cabinet meeting held on Thursday called on Dr. Government spokesperson Gyanendra Bahadur Karki said that Shankar Sharma, Shridhar Khatri in the US and Gyan Chandra Acharya in the UK have been recommended as ambassadors.
Sharma was previously Nepal’s ambassador to the United States, while Khatri is an expert on foreign affairs. Similarly, Acharya was earlier the Permanent Representative of the United Nations.
The government had recently recalled ambassadors from these countries. Earlier, in the United States, Dr. Yuvaraj Khatiwada, Nilambar Acharya in India and Lokdarshan Regmi in the UK were the ambassadors.
