N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- The government has instructed the Nepali ambassadors serving in different countries to make efforts to procure vaccines, medicines, and other health items against COVID-19.
Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradip Kumar Gyawali in an indirect meeting with Nepali ambassadors of 13 countries directed to mobilize vaccines, medical oxygen related items, medicines, and other health items for Nepal as international assistance, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Minister Gyawali directed to make maximum efforts to mobilize assistance from bilateral and multilateral levels as well as charitable organizations, private sector, and Nepali expatriates in view of the crisis caused by the epidemic and the current needs of the country.
According to the Ministry, Minister Gyawali has also directed to explore other possibilities of receiving assistance and mobilization.
Minister Gyawali also directed to work with a high priority on the security and welfare of Nepali citizens living abroad.
