KATHMANDU:- The Government of Nepal has decided to open domestic flights from August 17, 2020.
The cabinet meeting held on Monday has decided to direct the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation to do its inside preparation to open domestic flights from August 17, 2020.
Minister for Tourism Yogesh Bhattarai informed that it has been decided to operate domestic flights from August by adopting safety measures against coronavirus. According to him, the ministry will be instructed to make arrangements for complete security for domestic flights.
Similarly, the lockdown is yet to be more easier.
The minister said that the lockdown would be further relaxed in the next phase. He said the government spokesman would announce the outcome of the strike at a regular press conference.
