Nepal filming of Bollywood film ‘Uchain’ has been completed


KATHMANDU:- Bollywood director Suraj Badjatya has completed the shooting of his new film ‘Uchain’ in Nepal. He came to Nepal with a team of artists and technicians with a 40-day schedule. He had predicted that the weather would become a villain as he chose the mountainous region for filming. However, due to the good weather, he packed the film for Nepal in 25 days.

A team of actors and technicians returned to Kathmandu on Friday after completing the first phase of filming in Manang on Wednesday. Director Badjatya had come to Nepal with a team of 125 people including artists from India and a crew of 350 people had been added from Nepal. Pushkar Lama, production designer of the film, informed that the team from India will return home on Saturday.
Indian actors Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Parineeti Chopra, Sarika Hassan and others had come to Nepal to shoot the film. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan. However, he could not come to Nepal due to his health condition. Duplicates were used to film his part in Nepal. The film tells the story of friendship.

The film also stars Nepali actors Paramita RL Rana, Saroj Lamichhane, Dumbar Bohra, Urusha Joshi, Ramesh Bajracharya, Tenzing Gyacho Sherpa, Niraj Muktan, Narayan Vishwakarma, Ayush Subedi, Sneha Adhikari and Saroj Praju. The second phase of ‘Uchain’, which was shot in Kathmandu, Lukla, Namche, Besisahar and Manang in Nepal, will be shot in India.

Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and Parineeti Chopra have been openly praising Nepal’s natural beauty through social media since its inception. Anupam has made a video about the beauty of Nepal and posted it on social media every day. He said that he was happy to visit Hindu religious places after visiting Pashupatinath.
