Nepal Embassy In The US To Provide Visa And Travel Documents Through Postal Services

Nepal embassy in the US has postponed the task of distributing identity cards meant for the Non-Resident Nepalis (NRNs) residing in the US. If issued, the card would serve as an eligibility for on-arrival visa for the US citizens of Nepali origin, qualifying them for some other facilities as well.

By N24 Correspondent, WASHINGTON:- Nepal Embassy in the United States has decided to provide visa and travel documents to travelers for Nepal through the US postal services.

Issuing a statement, the embassy has said that it will take only up to five days for an individual to receive the documents in their home addresses.

As for the on-arrival visa to be issued at a Nepalese airport, the embassy has stated that it will be available to diplomatic personnel, UN staff and US citizens of Nepali origin.

All travelers have to show Covid-19 negative report of the past 72 hours, while 10 days quarantine is mandatory for all travelers.
