Nepal elected NARA President



KATHMANDU: Ganga Prasad Nepal has been elected President of the Nepal Association of Rafting Agencies (NARA). NARA’s 31st General Assembly concluded here on Tuesday elected Nepal.
Nepal got 37 votes while his nearest rival Kamal Bahadur Thakuri 25. Likewise, Megh Bahadur Ale was chosen as Vice President and Shishir Khanal as General Secretary.
Indra Bahadur Rana was elected secretary, Rita Adhikari treasurer and Narayan Shrestha co-treasurer. Member of the newly leadership are Indu Devi Wagle, Rajendra Thapaliya and Gopal Rana. Of the total 85 companies affiliated with NARA, representatives from 67 cast their vote.
